Skinny Chocolate Chip Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13″ baking dish with non stick cooking spray. 
  2. In the large mixing bowl or using an electric mixer, combine Kodiak Cakes Protein Power Baking Mix, eggs, brown sugar sweetener, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, unsweetened applesauce. Mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in 1/4 cup chocolate chips and continue stirring until well combined. 
  4. Press batter into prepared pan-the batter will a bit sticky-don’t worry-that’s totally normal. 
  5. Sprinkle and press remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake for 11-13 minutes, or when you insert a toothpick into the middle it comes out clean. ( You don’t want these to overcook or they’ll be dry!)
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting them into 20 equal slices. Enjoy!
